Digital Heritage Collection

Our Digital Heritage Collection Created by Edoh, this collection beautifully blends 3D-printed objects — designed and crafted by Edoh — and framed with traditional art, sketches, or AI-generated scenery.
Each piece is thoughtfully adapted to retell long-forgotten stories and traditions of Africa, celebrating dance, music, childhood games, and everyday village life through the lens of African men and women. Inspired by Edoh’s childhood experiences growing up in Togo and Ghana, West Africa, the collection bridges culture and technology. Some works even incorporate sensors, electronics, and microcontrollers, allowing the art to interact and respond to human presence — bringing African heritage to life in a modern, immersive way.

About Edoh

Edoh was born and raised in Togo, West Africa, where his passion for creativity and making began at an early age. As a child, he loved building things from whatever materials he could find, often experimenting with electronics, and spent much of his time drawing and sketching.

While in primary school, Edoh took part in a national art competition organised by the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) on the theme “Farming in Togo.” His drawing of a farmer with bulls and a plough earned him second place nationally. He was featured on national television in Lomé, and upon returning to his hometown Tsévié, he was welcomed by the Préfet in a local stadium filled with thousands of schoolchildren celebrating his success. That recognition marked the beginning of a lifelong journey in art and invention.

Edoh went on to study Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, later pursuing Physics and Mathematics, Computer Science, and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Art before completing a Master’s degree in Creative Media and Interactive Art.

Professionally, Edoh has worked at world-class universities, including the London School of Economics (LSE) as a Learning Technologist, and the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London — ranked the world’s number one university for Art and Design — as a Technical Instructor.

Today, Edoh’s work brings together his artistic roots and technical expertise, blending African heritage, modern technology, 3D design, AI, and interactive electronics. His creations reimagine tradition through innovation — celebrating culture, storytelling, and the creative spirit of Africa in a modern form.
